The Plotter that I salvaged is an ENCAD Novajet Pro 600e, at least I think it is, the manual is here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/539785/Encad-Novajet-Pro-600e.html?page=63#manual
These images are of the part that I salvaged:
I will be recreating this assembly in Fusion 360 complete with dimensions, but until then it’s approximately 5″ – 6″ in length.
This 4-compartment carriage slides smoothly on the polished rod.
As a Plotter the four nozzles were designed to distribute 4 colors of ink.
THE ISSUE: They may be usable but I am concerned about using thick acrylic paint when it was designed for ink. The four plastic tubs are threaded through the chain channel also shown here. There may be room enough to increase the tubing size. I will need to test this hypothesis, however, we could run one large tube through with ease. How to supply acrylic paint to the head is going to be one of the biggest challenges. Any thoughts on this?
I’m not sure but I think the white ribbon is electric wire. Still need to investigate.
